Handle the product launch of OB10, an electronic invoicing delivery service, in the United States, specifically targeting financial professionals at Fortune 500 companies.

Result
In order to unveil 10B and showcase the product’s benefits to financial professionals at Fortune 500 companies, BlinnPR concentrated their efforts on those areas that provided OBE the biggest bang for the buck. These included:

  • Securing appropriate speaking opportunities
  • Leveraging Research Analyst firms
  • Spotlighting OBE clients
  • Story pitches focused on 1) online billing, instead of the broader topic of EBPP, 2) tax benefits for multinational companies, 3) automating existing business processes, and 4) advantages of the product e.g., cost savings, flexibility, performance, etc.

Over the course of the year long launch, OB10 was well received by the media resulting in coverage in IOMA’s Financial Executive’s News and Managing Accounts Payable, Time, Bank Technology News, American Banker, and BusinessWeek, among others. The coverage not only resulted in market recognition for OB10, but according to the company, an increase in the volume of sales calls as well.
